Vulcan® Moveable Barrier

The Vulcan® Moveable Barrier is a steel barrier comprised of lightweight, galvanized steel segments. It is tested to NCHRP Report 350 Test Level 3 and Test Level 4, and EN1317 H2 and N2 specifications. The Vulcan® Moveable Barrier is designed for easier movement with the Vulcan® Transfer Attachment (VTA) when connected to a skid steer or front end loader. The VTA is also designed to help the operator work from either side of the barrier.

Features

  • One mile of Vulcan® Moveable Barrier can be opened or closed in approximately 20 minutes with the VTA.
  • Galvanized steel construction for durability.
  • Can be used on bridge decks.
  • Can be anchored with other compatible end treatments or used freestanding.
  • Compatible with the Vulcan® Gate.

 

VTA Features

  • Attaches to a standard skid steer or front end loader.
  • VTA can be removed to allow the skid steer or front end loader to be used elsewhere in the work zone.

Assembly & Maintenance

  • Sections designed for easier replacement if damaged.
  • Can be installed anchored or freestanding.
